On the intersection of maximal subgroups in finite groups

The intersections of maximal subgroups of a definite kind in finite groups are investigated. In particular, it is proved that the intersection of all noninvariant nonnilpotent maximal subgroups is nilpotent in a finite nonsolvable group.
