The realization of functions of the $P_k$ by formulae ($k\geqslant3$)

In this note we study the realization of the functions of many-valued logic by formulae in a special basis subject to the condition that the functions of the basis are of arbitrary weight. An asymptotic bound is obtained for Shannon's function in this case.
