A new type of distinguishing property, named the zero-sum property has been presented by Aumasson and Meier in 2009. It has been applied to the inner permutation of the hash function Keccak. In this paper we present a modified algorithm for zero-sums searching for constructions having an XSL structure, with some restrictions on the linear transformation. The algorithm is applied to a representative of Photon hash functions family.
