We study the destruction of space bodies in the Earth's atmosphere by solving the extended equations of meteor physics. In particular, we analyze Chelyabinsk and Kunya–Urgench meteorites taking into account the mass loss and consider various mechanisms of their destruction.
Keywords: meteorites, heat flux, hypersonic speed
Mots-clés : destruction.
