Active zone of the fast low power reactor with nitride fuel and the sodium heat carrier

Variants of the active zone (AZ) for the low power fast reactor with nitride U-Pu fuel and the sodium heat carrier are offered. Minimum reactor power admissible for establishment of a self-adjustable neutron-nuclear regime of second type (SANNR-2) in these AZ is researched numerically. There was used two ways of regulation of the reactor power in SANNR-2: by UN input in the subzones located out of and near the AZ geometrical axis. Optimization of the AZ parameters on duration of reactor campaign has been carried out. Advantages of the reactor power regulation in SANNR-2 using a subzone located near the AZ axis are shown.
