Determination of the density of aerodynamic flow-wrapping by methods of the color filtering

A modification of the previously offered algorithm of color filtering is considered. The algorithm is applied to determine the density of aerodynamic flow by analysis the of chromaticity of its points. The problem of recovering the distorted reference color is solved by methods of discriminant analysis, with the use of experimental reference chromaticity curve. Approximation of a spatial curve of chromaticity using the cubic splines significantly increased stability and accuracy of the algorithm on the experimental data obtained with considerable error. This allowed us to visualize and process weakly discernible effects displayed on the color shadow pictures of aerodynamic experiment.
