Matrix method for modeling of tunneling transport

A new effective numerical approach to simulation of steady state electron scattering and tunnel transport for non-uniform 1D potential barrier is elaborated. Numerical algorithms and computer programs are constructed and tested. A convergence of the proposed numerical method has been investigated.
