Temporomandibular joint stress field calculation

The investigated problem concerns temporomandibular joint stress calculation. The numerical method of finite elements is chosen (for the solution of the problem). The way of dividing of non-convex three-dimensional objects with complex geometry into finite elements (tetrahedrons) is suggested. The algorithm of calculation of mandibular joint stresses is worked out and programmed. The results of calculating experiments are suggested. The worked out set of programs can be used by practicing dentists.
