Modelling of safe combustion with maximal temperature

This work is concerned with the phenomenon of delayed loss of stability in singularly perturbed differential equations and the estimation of the maximal temperature of safe combustion. Using the qualitative theory of singular perturbations and canard techniques we determine the maximal temperature during the transition region between the slow combustion regime and the explosive one.
