The Godunov method is applied for the numerical modeling of the sonic underexpanded jet outflow into an ambient space at rest and the jet interaction with a plane barrier set perpendicular to the axis of symmetry. The results obtained are in good agreement with experimental data. Possible mechanisms of the generation of self-oscillations are discussed.
