The best known models of strongly coupled plasma are examined. The most of them have the Debye asymptotics for weak non-ideality; but some models have the cell-type asymptotics. The last models agree with optical experiments, thereas the first ones don't agree; this proves non-adequacy of Debye asymptotics. The comparison with thermodynamical experiments is discussed. The improved microfield model of non-ideality is constructed; it has the best agreement with experiments.
