Mathematical models of three-dimensional turbulent flows in the ducts with fluid injection

Three-dimensional turbulent flows of viscous incompressible fluid in the ducts with fluid injection are considered. Reynolds averaged full and parabolic Navier-Stokes equations are used for description of the flows. The closure problem is solved with the help of Boussinesq turbulent viscosity concept and equations of two-parameter dissipative turbulence model. The distributions of velocity components and turbulent kinetic energy in the ducts with different shape of cross section have been obtained. Some of simplifying assumptions, connected with the flow development primary direction, have been formulated on the basis of results of numerical simulation. These assumptions allow to develop an approximate computational method of three-dimensional flows in the ducts with fluid injection. The results of numerical simulation obtained on the basis of the models, and computational resources for every approach are compared.
