Tool-steel crystallization in a multilayered casting mould

A 2-D mathematical model of steel crystallization in a cylindrical casting mould with multilayer wall is developed. Based on it, a decompozition method and respective algorithm are constructed. Using the realized program code, computational experiments on crystallization of two-tonnes tool-steel blocks were performed.
