Numerical simulation of heat and mass transfer in near critical fluid with equation of state in mean-field approximation

Continuous medium near the critical point of “liquid-gas” phase transition with equation of state in mean-field approximation is considered and influense of the equation of state coefficients on dynamics of the medium is defined. Numerical simulation of convective flow and heat transfer in cavity with one-sided heating was performed using the equation of state with various coefficients sets: Van-der-Waals, Redlich–Kwong and experimental. Comparison of results is presented.
