Numerical analysis of the steady states in long Josephson junctions

We investigate numerically by the finite element method the steady states in inhomogeneous Josephson junctions with microresistance. To induction and the density of the external current change along the junction. To solve the corresponding non-linear boundary value problem we use the continuous analogue of the Newton method.
