Effect of gas-dynamic peturbations on vaporisation process due to modulated heat source

Effect of gas-dynamic perturbations in vapour flow on vaporisation process due to modulated heat source is investigated. It is shown, that in subsonic flow such perturbations significantly change vaporisation dynamics in its dependence on surface temperature. Quasi-resonant dynamics of surface temperature versus modulation frequency dependence becomes more pronounced. These effects are diminished when Mach number aproaches unity.
