Numerical modelling of discontinuous solution of perfectly elasto-plastic problems

Classical formulations of the deformation theory of perfect plasticity lead to the specific variational problems. Their main peculiarity is the possibility of discontinuous solutions. It is shown in this article that efficient variational-difference methods for these problems can be constructed on the case of extended variational posings. Corresponding numerical results are presented too.
