Simulation of oil reservoir exploitation on parallel computer systems

Using 2D problem in fossil oil extraction optimising as an example, the possibility of implementation of multiprocessor transputer technology for power problems is explored. The method of creating efficient parallel programs for computer systems with distributed memory is suggested. The algorithm of distributed processing of global information for managing the program is presented. Realisation of the method applied to transputer based systems is described.
