Monotone corrective terms and coupled algorithm for Navier--Stokes equations of an incompressible flow

Monotone unconditionally stable finite-difference schemes are developed for the convectiondiffusion equation and Navier–Stokes equations. The schemes provide high coarse-grid accuracy. To design non-oscillatory convection schemes the second and third order corrective terms are added to central-difference approximation of advective terms. New algorithm for Navier–Stokes equations in the stream function-vorticity formulation is proposed too.
