Calculation of joule heating in a system of parallel conductors of arbitrary form for short current pulses

The problem of the magnetic field nonlinear diffusion calculation in a system of long parallel conductors of arbitrary cross-section shapes for short current pulses of arbitrary form is solved in the boundary-layer approximation. For comparison a solution in the highfrequency approximation is carried out. A current density and temperature redistribution process along conductors surfaces is considered for different models of thermal properties of the conductor material.
