Simulation of $\sim1$–$10^5$ ev electron trajectories in gases

The review of the main electron ($\sim1$–$10^5$ eV) transport models in the last 20 years proposed has been performed. The basic principles of the model constructions have been considered. Theoretical, empirical and semiempirical description methods of elastic and inelastic electron-atom interactions has been presented, especially electron cascade phenomenon.
