Conservative self-consistent finite-difference scheme for VHF devices with magnetized electron beam of arbitrary configuration

Conservative self-con sis tent finite-difference scheme is offered for the Vlasov–Maxwell system of equations in arbitrary constant inhomogeneous external magnetic field. The cylindrical geometry is analysed. Exact energy balance of macro-particles and discrete electromagnetic field gives advantages in simulations of nonlinear processes in VHF devices.
