Closed cycle of mathematical modeling of wave processes in vertically inhomogeneous media

The paper describes a closed cycle of mathematical modeling of wave propagation processes in vertically-mhomogeneous media. For solving the inverse problem, an optimization approach is proposed and veriiied. In its implementation there occurs the necessity of multiple solution of the direct problem. Efficiency of the whole process may be essentially increased using the process of searching for the minimum point in the domain of space-time frequencies.
