The article analyzes the open-ended items from the National External Assessment after the VII grade held in 2023. Scoring that is different from the generally accepted is justified. A methodology for evaluating open-ended items in national external assessment is proposed. Чрез методите на вероятностното моделиране са анализирани задачи със свободен отговор от НВО след VII клас проведено през 2023 г. Обоснован е алтернативен на  общоприетия вариант за точкуване на такива задачи.
