The proposed course introduces the need to learn and develop skills for working with artificial intelligence (AI) and to adapt the education system accordingly. The main approaches to representation and processing of knowledge, necessary for the development of intelligent systems in various fields, are considered. An overview is made of the knowledge and skills that the course participants will acquire. For the practical exercises, the programming language Prolog is used, which has recently attracted revived interest and is suitable for working with “classical artificial intelligence”. Предложеният курс запознава слушателите с необходимостта за изучаване и развитие на умения за работа с изкуствен интелект (ИИ) и адаптиране на образователната система по съответния начин. Разглеждат се основните подходи за представяне и обработка на знания, необходими за разработка на интелигентни системи във всички сфери на съвременния свят. Прави се преглед на знанията и уменията, които ще придобият участниците в курса. За практическите занимания се използва езикът за програмиране Пролог, който напоследък се радва на възроден интерес и е подходящ за работа с ”класическия изкуствен интелект“.
