Inquiry-based learning in mathematics and computer modeling through block programming

The course is addressed to teachers from the primary and middle school. We will share with participants ideas for working with microworlds for block programming, implemented in the SNAP! language (extended version of Scratch) that are childfriendly. In these microworlds it is THEM, the children, who teach the computer new things, explore phenomena and regularities in mathematics, formulate tasks and hypotheses, enter the shoes of scientists from an earliest age. Курсът е предназначен за учители от основно и средно училище. Ще споделим с участниците идеи за работа с микросветове за блоково програмиране, реализирани в езика SNAP! (разширена версия на Scratch), които са удобни за деца. В тези микросветове именно ТЕ, децата, които учат компютъра на нови неща, изследват явления и закономерности в математиката, формулират задачи и хипотези, влизат в обувките на учените от най-ранна възраст.
