This article is dedicated to the memory of Professor Docho Todorov Dochev, who left us on October 11th, 2021, just two months before his 90th anniversary. A teacher and scientist with a Renaissance spirit, deeply devoted to mathematics education for the young talented pupils and to the development of mathematics in Bulgarian schools and universities, a distinguished member of the Union of Bulgarian Mathematicians. Тази статия е посветена на паметта на професор Дочо Тодоров Дочев, който ни напусна на 11 октомври 2021, два месеца преди своята 90-годишнина. Учител и учен с възрожденски дух, отдал всичките си сили и ентусиазъм на откриването и обучението по математика на млади таланти и на развитието на математиката в българските училища и университети, изтъкнат член на Съюза на математиците в България.
