The article presents practical experience in teaching Typesetting with LaTeX for students, majoring in Financial Mathematics at the Angel Kanchev University of Ruse. The course familiarizes the students with the bases of computer typesetting system LaTeX and builds skills for independent creation of digital documents with a lot of mathematical text, figures and computer code in various scientific areas for publishing on paper, digital media or Internet. The content of the course is presented: type and structure of a document, floating objects – figures and tables, mathematical formulas, arrays, matrix, creation and importing of graphics, theorems and definitions, hypertext documents and e-books. Статията представя практически опит в преподаването на текстообработка с LaTeX за студенти, специалност ”Финансова математика“ в Русенския университет „Ангел Кънчев“. Обучението в курса има за цел запознаване на студентите с основите на издателската система LaTeX и изграждане на умения за самостоятелно създаване на електронни документи, съдържащи математически формули, графики и програмен код, предназначени за публикуване на хартия, електронен носител и в Интернет. Представено е съдържанието на курса: изучаване на основните структури в LaTeX-документа, плаващи обекти – фигури и таблици, математически формули, масиви, матрици, теореми и дефиниции, създаване и импортиране на изображения, създаване на хипертекстови документи и електронни учебници.
