Plastic Number and Origami

This paper proposes a simple folding algorithm for the construction of van der Laan's plastic number using origami. Furthermore, it is shown how the algorithm can be slightly modified to produce Rosenbusch's "cubi ratio", a number which can be defined analogously to the plastic number.
