This article focuses on research carried out on a little known feature of the Royal Palace of Caserta. The study analyses the perspective image on the large piece of fabric which was originally used as the curtain in the Court Theatre of the palace. The aim was to reconstruct the space portrayed on the curtain and its spatial and symbolic relationships with the constructed space of the Royal Palace.
