The research on dynamics of the precipitation sums

The dynamics of the time series of precipitation sums averaged for different periods, in the steppe zone of Kabardin-Balkar Republic since the 60-ies of the last century is investigated. The climatic characteristics by calendar seasons and periods, typical for the formation of natural hazards (dangerous floods) are presented. It was established, that among the defined trends only the tendency of increase in the sums of precipitation for the autumn period is stable and statistically significant.
