The dynamics of annual and seasonal precipitation amounts since the middle of last century in Elbrus area is investigated. The climatic characteristics of landscapes functioning conditions by calendar seasons and periods, typical for the formation of natural hazards (avalanches, mudflows, the glaciers regime) are studied.
