Enzymatic activity in the soils of the steppe zone
News of the Kabardin-Balkar scientific center of RAS, no. 4 (2013), pp. 93-99.

Enzymatic activity (invertase, phosphatase, catalase) in the soils of the steppe zone from the Terskiy variant of vertical zonation in Kabardin-Balkaria is determined. Among the soils under study, meadowychernozem calcareous soil has maximum biological activity. Correlated changes in activity of enzymes between each other, and with humus contents are revealed.
