Mathematical model for dynamics of lifting

In the paper a qualitative analysis of mathematical model for dynamics of lifting and lowering the drill column, which at a certain idealization is reduced to solving a mixed problem for the equation of string vibration, when one of the boundary conditions is a consequence of the d'Alembert principle, and the second boundary condition is replaced by the final condition, is conducted.
