In the offered review one of the most actual and at the same time a problem of modern geophysics causing the most fierce disputes is discussed – influence of solar activity on a condition of the lower atmosphere and weather. The regularity of interrelation of thunderstorm and solar activity in territory of the North Caucasus from 1989 to 2002 are considered. The correlation dependencies of storm and solar activity allowing with high accuracy to predict regularity of frequency of thunderstorms in time are received.
