It is shown that the calculation of the strength of the interfacial layer $\sigma_a$ of particulate-filled polymer composites within the framework of the cluster model of the structure of the amorphous state of polymers correctly gives not only the trend of change $\sigma_a$, but also the quantitative values of this parameter.
