A generalization of the Möbius inversion on lattices of subgroups of finite groups is obtained, which represents a direct generalization of the classical Möbius inversion on segments of the natural series, a number of properties of the Möbius functions of lattices of subgroups of finite groups and a generalization of the Gauss formula are proved.
