Diffraction of elastic waves by circular inhomogeneities in unbounded plates

The plane two-dimensional wave motion of a homogeneous isotropic boundless plate under deformation in its plane is considered. A solution describing the value of the dynamic stress coefficient was obtained and studied. The maximum value is achieved at the frontal point. Thus, it becomes possible to open the contour-reinforcing rings that are optimal from the point of view of material costs and weight characteristics when immersing a plane incident compression wave.
