Software framework for unmanned vehicles navigation and control

In the article we study methods and approaches to design and development of unmanned vehicles' (i.e. unmanned aerial vehicles') control system. Questions of conceptual design of tactic level of control system are addressed (and a conceptual architecture is proposed) as well as questions concerning software implementation of the system (it is proposed to use open software (i.e. ROS – Robotics operating system) for such an implementation). Developed prototype of the software framework for unmanned vehicles navigation and control is described.
