In modern conditions when ultra HDTV processing algorithms and standards are being developed, FPGA-based reconfigurable computer systems (RCS) are the most acceptable for systems of signal processing. In comparison with computer systems based on other hardware platforms, RCSs have better characteristics of effectiveness and compactness, and hence provide optimal implementation of ultra HDTV signal processing.
