Fundamental issues in mathematical modeling for computer aided design of nanosystems

Synthesis of nanosystems instead of analysis requires novel approaches to mathematical modeling of nanosystems. Fundamental issues in mathematical modeling for computer aided design of nanosystems are discussed. Design-oriented applications allow to use simplified models of nanosystems.
