Numerical blow-up solutions for some semilinear heat equations

Summary: This paper concerns the study of the numerical approximation for the following initial-boundary value problem, $\sterling $########$${\S}$$###$\ddot \sterling $###$\copyright \copyright \sterling $###$\copyright \sterling "!#\\%')(10243{\S}!5#6\%'87902 \sterling #\\%'@380A###$ddot$\%'B$£C$#@(@380A###$ddot$\%'B3{\S}!D#\\%'87E0F $©£C$#6GH\%I0P$$###$$Q$£$R'#S$$###$$02B"!DT \%'1(FUV where XW W \% and ( . We give some conditions under which the solution of a semidiscrete form of the above Y problem blows up in a finite time and estimate its semidiscrete blow-up time. Under some assumptions, we also show that the semidiscrete blow-up time converges to the continuous blow-up time when the mesh size goes to zero.$
