In this paper we consider a system formed by four partial differential equations: Two hyperbolic equations coupled with two parabolic equations involving the difference in temperature and the microtemperature. This system appears in porous thermoelasticity. Using the energy method, we prove the exponential decay for the energy.
Keywords: exponential decay, porous system, thermal effect, micro-temperature damping.
