On infinite groups with points

We consider the notion of a point, give examples of groups with points and prove a theorem on the location of points in subgroups of infinite groups. The research was supported by the Russian Foundation for Basic research, grant 02–01–00078, and by grant №9 of the Sixth Competition of Scientific Projects of Young Researchers in 1999.
