The present work is devoted to the development of the technology for the synthesis of single-crystal samples of Heusler alloys on the example of the Ni-Mn-Ga family by the Czochralski method in order to achieve uniformity along the growth and given chemical composition. The paper shows the effect of varying the ratio of elements Mn, Ga and Ni in the original ingot on the chemical composition of the synthesized samples. Also the results of metallographic studies and the investigations of chemical homogeneity along the growth of synthesized Heusler alloys of the Ni-Mn-Ga family are presented.
Keywords: Heusler alloy, Czochralski method, chemical homogeneity.
