Stability of a heated from below liquid layer with an impurity

The problem of convective stability of a flat layer of a medium containing setting heavy solid particles is discussed. A study is made of the stability of a layer of a medium containing an additive which is heated from below. It is shown that the presence of setting solid particles has a significant stabilizing effect on convective stability.
