This article is devoted to the ninetieth anniversary of the birth of Professor, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Alexander Sergeevich Simonov, who headed the Department of Mathematical Analysis of Tula State Lev Tolstoy Pedagogical University for more than fifteen years. It provides biographical data, highlights scientific activities, and provides a list of the main scientific works.
