This work is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Professor Ashot Enofovich Ustyan. The paper presents facts from the biography of the hero of the day. Information about the scientific work of A. E. Ustyan is given. Sufficient space is given to the organizational and pedagogical activities of Professor A. E. Ustyan. The information about awards and incentives of A. E. Ustyan for his fruitful scientific and pedagogical activity is given.
