La formazione degli insegnanti di matematica in Ungheria

This article describes the state of art of the pre-service Mathematics teacher education in Hungary. In order to understand the whole system better we give examples of certain details at different levels of the pre-service mathematics teacher training. Moreover we offer some background information about the Hungarian educational system as well. We strongly believe that to study the teacher training system of an other country in general is not a waste of time. It may give a new perspective to study our own system and enlighten the values of it.
