Buchi neri e singolarità nude
Bollettino della Unione matematica italiana, Série 8, 8A (2005) no. 1, pp. 37-50
Einstein's theory of General Relativity predicts the existence of spacetime singularities, but it is still unclear which is the nature of such singularities. In particular, it is unclear whether the singularities are always "hidden" to far-away observers (i.e. blackholes) or not. We discuss the state-of-the-art in the knowledge on this topic, which is of key importance for a full understanding of relativistic gravitational collapse.
